Carlos Barcode was first persuaded to paint whilst working as a decorator in Pittsmoor. His colourful abstracts quickly got him sacked. Fearing llamas for no good reason, Carlos decided to avoid going to Peru, and has remained in Sheffield for the past thirty years pursuing an artistic career that has redefined the landscape of contemporary British art.
Carlos is currently reclining in a vat of cold lentils, whilst organising a major exhibition for February 2006.
